EXIM Chair Lewis, Director Bachus Host Game Changer Exporter Roundtable in Charlotte, N.C.
Charlotte, N.C. – Today, Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis and EXIM Board of Directors member and former Congressman Spencer Bachus hosted a Game Changer Exporter Roundtable with business and community leaders from across Charlotte, North Carolina. The roundtable, co-hosted by the Carolinas LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Women Business Owners Charlotte Chapter, the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Public Private Strategies, is part of EXIM’s nationwide initiative to gather local business leaders and exporters to highlight the role EXIM can play in helping U.S. businesses compete and win overseas.
“We know that EXIM financing can be a powerful tool to support American businesses looking to level up and grow in the international marketplace,” said Chair Lewis. “It was great to get the chance to speak with business leaders from Charlotte and across the region and help them learn more about what EXIM can do to help them boost exports and compete and win deals overseas.”
During the event, Chair Lewis and Director Bachus shared how EXIM’s financing tools are uniquely positioned to help support American companies grow and expand their business through exporting.

EXIM is open and continues to support American exporters and facilitate job growth nationwide.”
Earlier today, Chair Lewis also attended the Advanced Reactors Summit in Charlotte, where she attended meetings with nuclear energy companies and business leaders and delivered a keynote address on EXIM’s work in the nuclear energy sector.
